In Restaurant Luna 36 we are pleased to exhibit paintings of the Danish artist Peder Munk Ravn.

Peter Ravn has painted for nearly 40 years. His philosophy is that his pictures must make an impact and provide joy and harmony for the eyes as well as the mind. Peder Ravn is a very creative person who doesn’t believe in either schools or academies:” An artist has to be an individual from the beginning. He has to overcome difficulties on his own, as that will shape his skills and personality.” Peder Ravn paints in fast decisive strokes, and rarely corrects his work. Fantasy determines what has to be done, and the impulse of the moment has to be caught, and expressed in colours.

Peder stays in the restaurant from time to time. Please feel free to drop by and have a chat with him about art or other exiting subjects. Some of his work has been created at Luna36 in the yard and on the balcony.
